The AT&T "It Can Wait" Driving Simulator was on campus giving students a chance to experience the danger of texting while driving. Participants wear a 3-D goggles that simulates driving and texting while driving in an eight block area of a city. The 3 minute experience includes close calls with students crossing the road, baby carriages, other drivers and finally a collision. Greenville is the first city in NC to be visited by the campaign. AT&T has been using this technology for about two months and can have about 20 people an hour come through the simulator.
